Hi,

Under Tools> Preferences> General> can I set Initial Tab: to Code? I don't see Code listed -- is it somehow possible to enter Code into the list?

HTML Editor 2010se build 369 (paid version)

Thanks,
yeto

in Tools> Preferences> General> the initial document frame select the 'code editor (HTML) button and hide visual editor tab checked, then when you start you have the code window tab and preview tab available.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Please allow me to apologize for the poorly worded question. I would like the window on the left to open in "code" moe versus "my websites" mode. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any help,
yeto

Oh, now that one has me stumped, I just click on the code tab whenever I need it, never thought of having it live immediately.

Sorry, but there is no settings for that in the software at this time. ;)

I thought that if you, in the preferences - General tab, have the Application Startup open a new document, and the Initial Document mode set to Code Editor, then you always end up in the code mode.

Or did you mean something else?

I think he means the code tab on the left, starting up with that open, rather starting up in file view.

Oh, OK. The only options there are having either the My Websites or My Computer open at startup.
