Background image still won't show?

Hello community,
another problem.

My background image won't show.
*I have nothing in my CSS file.
*This is what I have: http://gyazo.com/d83833f578ff5c6b86f4d3e1108b46f4

Your referencing your desktop.
Put the image inside a folder named images inside your project and make your code like this.
background-image:url('images/background_image.png');
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Where would that folder be located? I can't find one.
So what I did was make a folder with that in it. Didn't work.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This

background-color: #ffffff;
background-image: url("desktop/images/background_image.png");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
color: #000000;
}

should be this
body {
background-color: #ffffff;
background-image: url("images/background_image.png");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
color: #000000;
}

And this
<body background="background_image.png">

should be
<body>

Then upload the image to your server into a directory named images.

That would be a directory you have create and then reference your images from it.
