Okay you clever bunch of people I have a question. I have on place on a web page that has an option to join a mailing list. I created it with the web form builder. There's an option in the configuration settings to have the page go to another page after the submission is made, but what I'd like to do if for the submission form to wipe away and a "thankyou" type message appear in its place instead of going to a new page. Any suggestions?
I did try duplicating the whole page and have the new message in place of the web form where the whole page wipes upon entry, but the only problem with that is, because the page can be slightly in a different spot depending on how people have scrolled, the wipe doesn't look as tidy as just the one spot wiping to a new message.
Good question huh?
Thanks in advance.

A Fade In Just One Place
Good question, indeed. I have a feeling for the ideal effect, it'll have to be a consideration add such a "fade to thank you" feature in a future upgrade. My only thought as a workaround to ensure everything else on the page stays the same would be to have the Web Form loaded in an iframe. Perhaps then, the thank you page could load in its place and not affect anything else on the screen. I have not tried that myself, so I could not say for sure how smoothly that would work, if at all (sounded good in my head anyway).

For now I have resolved the problem by duplicating the entire page with changes in the places I wanted changed and a fade across the whole page. It works okay.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
