Form Designer build 357 is now live. :D

Main new features and adjustments include:
  • Updated the Foundation framework to v6.5.1.
  • Made it easier to enable support queries by adding the `Design For` control in the right panel
  • Refreshed the CoffeeCup Font Icons.
  • Changed where the file path for projects uploaded to S-Drive. If your S-Drive account is set to default on ‘Sites’, when publishing to S-Drive a Form Designer project will not go to the ‘forms’ location.

Happy Friday Gang!

Form Designer 3 build 373 is now live.

This version includes several user interface improvements to make it easier to interact with the canvas and design tools. A friendlier control indicator when hovering over elements, a new toolbar with sleek colors and icons, plus an improved viewport slider and breakpoint bar.
  • The slider better indicates what breakpoint area you are currently designing for. The breakpoints themselves are also more defined with a new arrow shape.

  • We also included some handy right-click actions to the element tree as well.
  • Cool double click actions were added! Double click from the Components Dialog to automatically add the item to your project. You can also hit that mouse twice on an existing category when importing a component.
  • You’re gonna love the new Inspector Filter with Search Functionality. Locate a class or element fast by keying in the term into the search. The app will bring up all the items that are a match and will highlight them on the canvas.

  • Enjoy a more direct way to add/replace images. When double clicking the Picture element on the canvas, the resources dialog will automatically appear for you to swap out the placeholder.
  • We also fixed up an Picture element undo/redo issue where the Undo control kept looping, replacing the image between two local resources.

Important note for macOS users.
Please be aware that this version has new name. Now it is prefixed with `CoffeeCup` so all of our apps are grouped. Therefore you might need to remove the old `Form Designer` to ensure the new one `CoffeeCup Form Designer`is always used.

Form Designer 4.0.498 is now live!

This latest release includes tons of performance improvements, a fantastic UI makeover, plus fresh tools such as Device View make it simple to preview how your design will render on different types of devices.

Additional new features and fixes you’ll find in this version include:
  • Add ‘value’ attribute for field inputs.
  • Improved breakpoints measure usability
  • Corrected issue with selecting text during Edit Mode.
  • Added breakpoint tool-tips with current pixel position.
  • Right-click controls on the Element Tree.
  • Show area on Slider for active breakpoints.
  • Collapse/Uncollapse All on Inspector
  • Fixed navigation tree that was hidden when zoom was active.
  • and many more fixes and improvements

  • Improved the application “lagginess” as reported in the forums. Thanks everyone for helping us narrow it down.
  • adjusted the jumpiness that was occurring on Elements Tree.
  • Fixed the row/column gaps on Display > Grid that were not getting applied value.

Good day! Quick announcement that Form Designer 4.0.516 is now available for download.

The main new features and fixes: include:
  • We added a built-in Code Editor dialog to provide you with a better coding environment. Simply add an HTML Element to your page and from the Element pane choose ‘Edit in Dialog’ to launch the code editor.

Form Designer 4.0.517 is now live! We made a quick build update for the fixes and features below:
  • Added a quick access to edit HTML code on the canvas element toolbar.
  • Fixed hitting “Tab” key on text edit mode.
  • Adjusted the text editor so that it properly opens with double click on canvas

Hello!

We have a fresh build for you! Form Designer 4.0.532 is now live and ready for downloading! The main fixes and features changes include:
  • Improved the performance as reported within the Community Forums.
  • Enabled Cut/Copy/Paste when Code Editor is active (with right click menu)
  • Added Edit HTML Element action to edit menu
  • Tweaked the interface which was appearing blurry on Windows
  • Resolved an issue with Preview in App and Undoing.
  • Code editor for the head/footer don’t set empty value.
  • Some Resources Dialog improvements and fixes.
  • Adjusted the back-end so that hardware acceleration would not be disabled on macOS.

Greetings Everyone! The new Form Designer 4.0.544 has launched!

In this new release, we’re refreshed the CSS Grid editor layout! It is now attached in the side panel instead of covering the canvas. This will allow you to view the canvas while applying your styles to see how your configurations will look instantly!

Here are some other improvements and fixes you’ll find in this latest build:
  • The CSS Grid icon in elements tree clickable to quickly launch the grid editor controls.
  • Improved performance for refreshing panels over time.
  • Verification code option along with better error treatment for application entitlements checks.
  • We repaired an Issue when refreshing Fallback Font Face.
  • Updated HTML beautification for more readable exported code.
  • Adjusted an issue on the Elements tree when moving scrollbar with the mouse.
  • Fixed warning when removing a palette.

Hello Everyone!

Form Designer 4.0.551 is now available for download. You’ll find in this release more performance improvements. We thank everyone who has been working with the developers to stomp out wacky issues.

Some other changes in the app include:
  • We resolved the issue with importing a component with style conflicts.
  • We tweaked how the app handles moving resources to ensure it update the CSS and image urls.
  • Made adjustments to the Grid Editor ‘close’ control.
  • Fixed elements that were getting stuck on Display > Block when using Visibility and Opacity controls.
