Works OK in VSD but not on the web
I began with one of your themes, but soon deleted most of it. I have Firestarter going in it and an HTML Menu...both seeming to work OK. Several text lines link to other pages...all OK.
Basically, it looks fine in VSD.
So, I FTP'd to the root directory. Now it looks like this: www.nordenfolk.org.
I learned the original theme had multiple pages (gotcha!!), so I deleted them (crashed a lot then).
Finally saved and copied the .vnu file up, but it still isn't near the view/function in VSD.
Anything look similar to someone's past problems?
I'd appreciate any suggestions how to start putting it together.
Something I still don't understand about VSD...old days there was an index.html and everything branched (linked) from it. It that the same with VSD? How do I know which file I'm looking (starting with) at?
Tks in advance for ideas,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
did you use the inbuilt upload feature or a separate ftp program?

I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.
Hiya Jerry,
VSD will create the index.html as well as any other pages that you create and files that it may need. You can kind of think of the .vnu file as the container that holds all the files. Then when it's time to upload it within the program it will basically take all those separate files that it has inside and unzip them to your server. Of course it doesn't work the other way around, you aren't able to add things "to" the .vnu file, only take them out with uploading or exporting them to your computer.
As for your problem, I'm afraid I don't use the program so I'm unable to help with that, but I'm sure someone will.
