Will VisualSite Designer export as HTML?
I'm just beginning to test the waters as a freelance graphic designer, and I need software that will allow WYSIWYG design that can be exported for a client to upload onto his own website without him owning the same software as I have. I've been exploring the trial version of VSD to see if it does what I need for my work prior to purchasing it, but I've yet to find any way to export a finished web page as HTML---it will only let me save as .vnu, and the Help tool hasn't helped at all. Can VSD export as any other file type?
From other postings it looks like when VSD saves the .vnu file it also creates a folder containing all the necessary html and images and such for use with an external FTP program. Of course, the fact that it can't import html may still be a problem.
Or, worst case, it would seem you would want to upload the finished work to an actual web host for final checks anyway, so you could then download that file structure after testing and zip it up.

I'd done what searches I could think to do on the forums, but somehow missed that about it making the folder with HTML and images and such---Thanks!
