Why did VSD put my HTML pages in the...
I added some pages to my site, then published them. The pages showed up on the server in the /files section on my server. The pages are also in the root of the site.
Did you change any of your ftp settings?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I just looked at my ftp and I have the same. The HTML pages are in both places.
I checked the time stamp of both pages for your media page and they match.

I would open a support ticket as this should not be possible.
The only way I could see this happening is if you added the html pages to VSD through the "Add files" tool.
Edit
I just checked one of my sites and I'm seeing the same thing. A bunch of HTML pages in my files directory that I didn't put there.
