Okay so I had a really old (not owned by coffeecup) version of VSD. It looks really similar but a few new features and more colorful logos, but heck, same program. Been building pages in it a few years with no problems. Went for support due to upload challenges with vista and upgraded to 6 after opening the files with the trial version and realizing I could use the new version with come pretty cool perks.

Well, I have made all the changes needed to my site but some of the pages (www.ambershouseofdance.com/teachers.html) have ghost images, dropped boxes and broken links that drop the l off of html. The page www.ambershouseofdance.com/news.html has had a few copy changes and the corrections never get made when I upload. I have reuploaded, resynched, saved and closed then come back to the program. Some uploads will fix one problem but not the other.

I realize that I am asking for a dream come true transition that may not happen but I'd love some suggestions to bypass the problem. these two pages in particular have capital letters to start the page id where the others do not. I tried to change it but says it is not unique and will not let me change.

Any suggestions out ther?

Should I build new pages and relink everything?

Hi Suzanna,
In my opinion, I would log on to the server and remove all the old files and images and remake the 2 pages as it would probably be quicker then to use the 3.0 version pages with the new 6.0 version of VSD. The new version makes a folder called files which holds all your images, that old version makes a folder called "My_Website_Files" and seems to name them with the htm extension. So in the long run I would just make the 2 and link accordingly.
Make sure you use single names for images and pages, and they will be case sensitive. If you have anymore questions please don't hesitate.

Actually, building new pages with all lowercase page ids worked. I copied the info from old page to new then relinked everything to the new pages and it works like a charm. I also deleted the 2 pages that did not work. Woohoo! I didn't realize page ids were case sensitive. Hope this helps somone else with the same problem I had.
