Kati,
You need to set your navigation to point to home.html, and name the file home.html. Unless you have both named the same, you will have navigation troubles, AND you MUST have an extension on your website file or it can be rendered as TEXT. Currently, Firefox is rendering the file as text because it does not have an extension.

Given the lack of changes to her site and her inactivity in this thread, I suspect she has not yet had time to apply the suggestions. Once she does that, she can let us know how it worked out.
