VSD Issues

Hi,

I have created a hyperlink in VSD and it doesn't seem to be working for some reason.

I have 'two' posts in the "Website Design" area but not getting any hits. However, that being said, I am doing all this in VSD so it seems appropriate to put a link here:

ISSUE#1
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/website … y-website/

ISSUE#2
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/website … k-problem/

both of the issues above are happening to me as I use VSD.

Can someone see what the issues might be please?

Thanks in advance

I would really, really appreciate any help as I don't have anywhere to go at this point.

I could try to redo this in HTML editor, but I am so used to using VSD now I've lost some skill and don't know how to create the background in CC html editor. For example: to create a two color background like this test site: http://www.resourcestoday.info/gogreen/index.html

You will see the main background is light green and then white in the middle. Doing this in VSD is quite easy, but in the HTML editor I'm not for sure how to do this.

That being said, IF I could find a way to have a menu like you see on the site above that will not affect the text on the "rest of my layout" then I would be ok. I had to use HTML for the text in VSD so I could tell it to be "black" otherwise the CSS from the menu would tell it to be something else.

Yet, somehow my 'hyperlink' is not working when I upload it now. I can get it to work on my computer but once it's uploaded the hyperlink no longer shows up. Really, Really, weird and Really, REALLY AGGRAVATING and I don't know how to fix it all. You'll find the word "benefits?" is missing from the sentence on the 'top left of the site' : Why should I choose "Green" Cleaning...what are the <missing word> and my code appears to be correct.

IF ANYONE can tell me a 'Workaround', "Another solution", "ANYTHING AT ALL!" I would pay you money. I just need to get it fixed please.

Thanks in advance.

I can't find where to delete this post.

I found a different menu which uses javascript instead.

Now I don't have the issue I was having with the CSS menu.

Sorry that your questions were not answered quickly, but many of us had family duties during the holidays that kept us busy away from computers.

Playing around with CSS can be interesting, and takes a bit of learning, but if you want to learn CSS and HTML, using the HTML editor can make the task easier.
