First, I know it is not CC's responsibility to provide support for VSD running in Parallels 8 on my Mac Mini. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I attempt to run VSD I get the following error:

--------------- Start --------------
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: vsd.exe
Application Version: 7.0.24.0
Application Timestamp: 50589047
Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll

Being new to the Mac world and Parallels I am stumped. All other CC software works fine.

I have 8 Gig RAM in the Mini so there is plenty of RAM resources available.

Thanks again,

Steve

OK.. Fixed it. The program must have it's properties set to run as administrator otherwise a crash.

File in Memory Banks in case others need the tip.

Thanks, Steve!

Yes, I agree with your starter statement - "... it's not CC's problem"

Yet I also had the same issue, and only just started using Parallels because I wanted to use CC!! Couldn't find anything in MacWorld to compare :-D

Your tip worked spot on! I simply right clicked the program entry in the Start Menu and chose 'Run as Administrator' - brilliant!

Thanks again!
