Well. It went through and said the website was published successfully. But along the way there were three other error windows. a_no_btn.png not found. orphanpressmenu.swf not found and Parchment Transparency.jpg not found.

I checked the File Manager and the website is there but in a different folder. When the xml etc. is fixed can you tell me how to point this to the proper subfolder?

Thanks.

You know that you have your site pointed to Coffeecup so I can't check your file setup.

I have two sites regarding this. orphanpress.com and orphanpress.org. Both are at NameCheap. I pointed orphanpress.com to BlueHost just to see how the transfer would work. I had boatloads of trouble with VSD when I had hosting at 1and1. Then I moved it to S-Drive and all the problems went away. Now I want to move these sites to BlueHost because of their unlimited addon sites.

Given the problems I had with 1and1 I knew there would be problems migrating to BlueHost. But I need to keep orphanpress.org live while I fuss with this. I want to use the .com to work out the bugs. When the dust settles I will move orphanpress.org to Bluehost and then have orphanpress.com point to it again.

What do I have to do to let you look at my files?

It's parked at NameCheap but currently has the NameServers pointing to BlueHost.

ns1.bluehost.com 74.220.195.31
ns2.bluehost.com 69.89.16.4

Well it looks as if you got something publish. Looks like your html files including the index is missing from the main folder.

That is what I was trying to clarify with the first post. That the html files weren't loading. They seem to be with the file and they load properly to S-Drive. I can see that they are in the orphanpress.org_website folder. (see attachment) Should they be together in the Files folder? That doesn't make sense. Does it? How do I transfer them to BlueHost? Thanks.

If the files folder is there then the rest of the files should be above it at the root of the sub folder. Can you try to ftp the files to the proper folder with another ftp agent just to rule out some stuff?
Also check that all our domains are assigned properly on Bluehost.

I want you to also DBl check your ftp settings in VSD for this. Make sure the / is in the front.

I did that first with Filezilla but I'll try it again.

Just to confirm. In the tree I sent with the attachment there are now two orphanpress folders. One dot com and one dot org. The .org is still pointed to .coffeecup.com. I see that the .org in the tree has the html files in the subfolder root above the files. The .com has all corrupted html files.

The addon subfolder is .com. Is there a way to have the .com use the .org folder and bypass any of this?

Just to clarify something. I should be able to upload a website of any name (myfavoritedog.com) to a subfolder (myfavoritecat.org) and still have it come up when I type in (myfavoritecat.org) in the url. Right? I'm just trying to make sense of something here. Thank you.
