I use BlueHost and I use /public_html.;)
If your publishing to a subfolder then
/public_html/orphanpress
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

That's where it's going. public_html/orphanpress

Bluehost support says there is supposed to be an html file in order for them to read the website.

Looking in the File Manager it shows that it is a sub folder of public_html.

I see that the .vnu file is within the public_html/orphanpress/file folder. Should it be in the public_html/orphanpress folder?

I still don't show where you have tried /public_html. That is DIFFERENT then just public_html

The whole file has a / in front of it. In the screen shot the File Manager shows Home (house icon) / public_html/orphanpress/

I tried it again and moved the whole folder over to the /public_html folder.

Here's another screen shot.

The files transfer over to the File folder but the html files don't transfer to the /public_html/orphanpress/ folder and all I get are 400, 401. 403, 404, 500 shtml Error Files.

Eric, can you tell me your procedure to publish from VSD to BlueHost? I would really appreciate it. I think I have to start from Square One with this.
Thanks, Greg

Do you want your site at the Root or the subfolder?

It needs to be in the addon folder. I have another website at the root.

I hadn't filled in the Remote Folder.

Now when I try it I get an error message. C:\Documents and Settings\...\OrphanPress\orphanpressmenu.xml was not found. Do you want to continue?

This may be where the problem lies.

I have not continued. Should I?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
