VSD 7 problems

Hello, I have the newest version of VSD (7) and for some weird reason when I added a clickable poster to an exisiting list of clickable posters (which take you to a page made in VSD) two things happen, or should I say don't happen.

First, the new poster is not showing up on the pag ewith the others and for some reason one of the posters that was working keeps accessing the wrong page, while in preview it works correctly.

Thank you.

Sounds like something is overlapping. Can you post an URL so that we can take a look?

Sure.

moviepropcollectors.com/magazine/museum

The bottom right Poster (Jurassic Park) is supposed to take you to museum16.html.

Instead it takes you to Page16.html, which did not work originally, (Now for some odd reason it takes you to the proper page, I have no idea why), but it still is not called museum16 like it should be. It is still called Page16.html. I renamed it to museum16 and saved it in VSD, and it works and is named properly in preview.

I also uploaded another poster under and between Subspecies and Terminator 2 for Puppetmaster. I see it and it works fine in preview, but I do not see it on the site at all, nor the page with the Puppetmaster prop, Museum18.html.

Thank you very much.

All your pages have the same title.
<title>Movie Prop Museum &laquo; Movie Prop Collectors</title>
With VSD click on the "page" at the top of the design window
Now in the page properties box on the right hand side you can change the title of the pages as it appears on the page tab in your browser window and the page title as it appears in the address bar.
Your other pages address's are museum2.html through museum15.html then they switch to page16.html-page17.html.

edit
page18.html is here.

http://www.moviepropcollectors.com/maga … eum18.html

looks as if you ftp'd it to the wrong directory.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric, though I am a bit confused as to what you mean :P.

What do I do so the JP poster says museum16html instead of Page16html, and how do I get my new page museum18 I see in preview, to actually show on the site?

Thank you again very much ;)

I thought you were using version 7.0? When I look at the source code it still says you have 6.06

I just checked and the page title for all pages is Movie Prop Collectors and the page id is museum for every one of them in VSD.

Ok here is what I found out.

I had to do a system restore which was before I upgraded to V7 so it must have went back to V6..."No
worries" as everyone seems to say lately, lol.

I update it to the 7.0 Build 11.

Now when I open the site and click preview I no longer get any preview. I get a nice aqua spinny circle and nothing happens.

Scotttttttttttttttttttt !!!!!!!!!!!! Help Dad!

Right click the VSD shortcut and set the properties to run as administrator, Run under xp service pack 3.
