New problem (note still cannot resize the PAGE see Thread website wont open) Now I have a few pages that when I try and fill an Object with a picture all I get is an uploaded picture, not the object picture that i created. (I create a circle frame and fill it with a jpeg the result is a square picture with no frame)

I have deleted my file folder and resaved and the new objects are not created they are only square pictures.

WWW.wentfishingtexas.com articles (this is my uploaded or preview result) Before and after posting.

I Managed to rebuild the page (Created a new page deleted the old page and renamed.) That Worked. I would prefer not having to rebuild any more pages, if someone has a workaround that would be great.

Hi, are you still talking about page size ? If so have you tried going to settings>standard settings for new pages, select the first page which is home or index or welcome or website, then change your size , then click on " apply to all pages" does this work?

The page size has been corrected the version released today (Monday). However when i try and change "old" objects with a new image fill the object dissapears and I am left with a square picture only. (I rebuilt the Articles page but still have the same problem on the "how too" page), and probably several others i hae not checked.

When I "preview" this page before uploading it looks the same and under the Files folder I do not see where an image was created.

Hi Eric,
the images do look alittle screwed up to say the least, have you tried to resync your site? this should correct the problem with the images. (instead of using just upload)

Hi Eric,

The images are fill? In the original site looks like you have mouse overs on them. I bet this is what might be the issue.

Can you remove all the mouse overs.

RE-build the page in a new directory "Clean" directory like "debug" or "test"
and load the whole thing up in that spot as not to disturb the current site?

I know it is alot of work...

Thanks for the sugjestions, I have deleated and recreated these things many times. The VSD program is not actually creating what i see on the site. Example: when you make a mouse over it creates 2 images in your file folder. If I try and fill an existing object it will not create the image in the File folder, ive already deleted the files folder from my host and redownloaded it. (it also causes images to fill that I did not select for that object.) This has to be a 6.0 bug.

Hi Eric,
I made a object, added a style, created a mouseover, and VSD made all it's images that was used, look here.
http://www.kellyinfo.com/MyFiles/tutorials/cleaningwebsitefolder.html
this is just to show you that is is making the nessesary images , and at the sametime i'm clearing my website folder. lol
see if I did it the way you do it.

Thanks for the video. What I am trying to do is fill objects that where created in VSD 5.9.4 the objects where solid fill/gradiant fill. now when i go back and fill the objects with a picture and "preview" (or post) the objects are randomly gone and replaced with plain square pictures. When I create a new page everything works fine. Check the above link and you will get a rough idea of what is happening to me. I also tried to add new objects to the page and delete the old ones. the new objects also random filled with incorrect pictures and removed the objects altogether. Again newly created pages work fine. Now that I think about it these seem to only effect objects I am using as links. I don't recall any non-link objects doing this.

I see what your saying Eric,my only problem is, I didn't have 5.9.4 to upgrade from so I'm using just the latest version, and I'm not even sure that is the problem. I also made a link over an object that was mouseover effected and worked fine.
