I just changed the contents of one of my pages. When using the new version to open my old version vsd.doc the new version could not locate the background file. I went to settings->add files. I see it's not in there so I add the file. During preview everything looks great. After upload to the domain host the background goes to black.

Please look at http://www.lanaioutdoorcabinetry.com/contactus.html.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi Kati,
Looking at the code I see it asks for (files/whitewhitesand1050h.gif),
but all I see is
IMG_0.jpg
IMG_1.jpg
IMG_2.jpg
IMG_3.jpg
IMG_4.jpg
IMG_5.jpg
cloudswhitebg.gif
whitewhitesand.gif
name is different as you can see-try uploading again by resyncing or use a ftp client and place that image in the files folder to see if that helps.

I think what she did was change the image name it looks like Scott.
Thanks for pointing that out though.http://emoticons4u.com/happy/932.gif

Yes, the main reason I did in the first place was that the site's file amount got to big. The old version would not let me add anymore files after about the 8th page.

Ok Katie,

How did you do that ...????!!!
Center your page in a different box on a colored background?
That is what I am trying to do, but haven't been able to figure it out.

I used a template that has a solid bar on the left for the menu (setting says gradient). If I choose CENTER for the page settings it centers my TEXT and graphics on the page, but then the menu bar is not longer on the tan strip, it's in the middle.

As it is set now, on a wide-screen monitor, as are common now, all the text is over to the left which looks kind of ugly.

It would look much better if I could set the page up in the middle of a dark color background similar to what you have done. Help!

PS. I didn't get a notice that the 6.0 version was available, so have not yet downloaded and tried it. Maybe that takes care of it?

Right now the background image is not working quite right in 6.0, (suppose to be a fix coming out today).
To answer your question. If you want a solid colored background (behind your webpage)
put this in the "edit/header."
Change the numbers (#780024) to whatever color you desire.

<style type="text/css">
body {
background: #780024;
}
</style>

This answers part of your questions.
Hope it helps.
