VSD 6 Build 6 (Vista)
This is going to take a bit of explaining as I've not been unable to isolate the source of the problem. On a UK keyboard our "@" symbol is shift+' and not Shift+2 as on a US keyboard. ok so far?
I have a Flash form built in "Web Form Builder" - the resultant code is then pasted into an html box in VSD. All ok and works as expected, EXCEPT I can't input an "@" symbol in an "email address field". At first I thought it was something to do with the form itself, like a validation glitch but, if I run the form standalone (http://www.grass-media.info/contact.html) it works BUT if I then run it from within the site developed under VSD, I cannot input the "@" symbol and THEN, the standalone version doesn't work.
This suggests to me it's caching JS so, before every test, I empty the cache. Sometimes this WILL allow the standalone version to work BUT as soon as I run the site version, no @ symbol can be used.
I'm absolutely stuck on this one and never experienced anything like it before. It's alike a nationalisation issue which shouldn't be there!
I have tested in IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari. IE is the only one which works.
I should add that shift+2 inserts an @ symbol in any browser on any form but of course that's not very helpful for my UK users.
Hope than makes some sort of sense? Any ideas?
VSD 6 Missing "@" symbol - US...
Make sure you don't have Transparency Background checked when you are creating the form...

Thanks so much for that!
