V.S Designer: Any way to make...
Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone could help me out with this question.
I have a number of flash animations and menubars on my website I'm making, and when the pages first load, each area where there is an HTML box (like, using the HTML tool in VSD), the area is always white before the object loads in.
This doesn't look so great because the background of my website is black. They only last a second, but still, I'd like to get rid of these big white boxes if possible.
Is there any to change it ? thanks for any assistance.

Well if your using Coffeecup for your flash, then I would suggest using the flash tool instead, depending really on how many flashes, it could normally take that second to load. And as of now I know of no way of changing the html box color, maybe someone else can chime in. just my 2 cents.
Hello Kevin,
That white color is actually controlled within the block of HTML generated by the flash application. Depending on which program you're using and it's options you may be inserting regular object/embed tags or it would use a javascript to work around the "Active Content" message in IE.
Either way, you'll need to look for the hex value for white (#ffffff) within the block of HTML code and replace it with black (#000000). This should prevent the small flash of white on the screen before the animation loads.

Thanks for the response. I'll give that a whirl.
