Visual Site designer problems.. -...

ok... temporarily back. I was using the Coffeecup HTML editor.
I went to download a trial version of the Visual site designer to use the template for the visual site listed above, figuring maybe the regular coffee cup will not work with it.
And while downloading, a virus attacked my machine. No other pages were loaded except coffeecup :(
I had to shut it down for a clean up while I switched to my windows7 computer.
Do you know what program I should have installed to use the CoffeeCup_Visual_Site_Designer-I_Do.vsdp

thanks.. lol now if I can find a trial version that is not infected with a fakealert. any suggestions?

well you could just turn off or allow VSD , that will work, these programs are not infected, but your antivirus software is....Is it Nortons?

What a pita of a fakealert that was. Good thing its my job to kill those savages.
Ok.. I decided to check out if I could get this program for the HTML builder I already own, instead of buying a program I may not need.
I am going to contact support tomorrow.

Hi Scott, I have also have had both joy and now grief with visual site designer since upgrading from second last version and also current release the problem as mentioned here..."locks up the program and nothing will run."

Have any new ideas or suggestions come forth to fix this

Have you tried running the program as Administrator to see if that helps?

I had VSD 7.0 Build 11 installed, just updated to Build 19, but I'm still having troubles uploading
my website accurately. A few pages (not all) have strange errors (colored shapes, buttons stretched or mislabeled or a funny color, certain jpgs not appearing, etc..)... While uploading I got an Error Some Number message (maybe 1730 or something like that), but then the program continued and it appeared like the website was uploaded. However, errors.

Any ideas??

Just tried to upload my website to GoDaddy again. VSD crashed about 5 minutes into the process.
What's going on??
