I am wondering if anyone has tried to add a lightbox photogallery, where the images are shown as thumbnails but when clicked on show in a lightbox. How would I go about doing this?

Have you looked at the CoffeeCup Photo Gallery? You can download a trial version and see if that does what you want.

Lightbox works differently from CC Photo Gallery. You can add the lightbox code into your webpage. There are instructions on the lightbox page how to do that.

You can also use the CC Photo Gallery but the effect is slightly differet. As it does not create a large image that is shown on the page where you have to click on the box to close the image or use escape. As Bill said download the trail version and try it out this way you can decide which is better for you i.e. lightbox or CC Photo Gallery.
