Scott,

I also have issues with object rotation, object layers and final page creation.
My issue is I have a couple of pictures that I rotated @ 15deg and they are stacked or layered to look a specific way. It shows it correctly on the screen, but when the page is built the background is in the wrong layer.

Here is what happens when the page is built under VSD 6.0.1 (I will try 6.0.2) -

Here is the same page built with VSD 5.9 - http://www.autolinkeadvisor.com/

Thanks,

Larry

Scott,

Then it must have been a bug in 5.9 as I did and have TIFF files in the pages.

I had to create jpg's to replace the images.

ok - just wanted to know...

thanks,

Larry

Problem with text spacing in VSD 6, build 3.
I have a site created with the previous VSD and upgraded today. it would appear that there is some default text line spacing that is greater than what is displayed in VSD6.0, at least as far as Firefox is concerned. The text runs past the bottom of the page in firefox, not in IE7. This was not the case with the previous build.
Any ideas?

the site is www.brixwinecellars.com

This is because you are using the wrong doctype. Right now you are using <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> however you should be using <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

That fixed it. But I have no idea why the DOCTYPE was anything other than the default.

Hi,
I have updated to VSD 6 from VSD 5 and now in my folder I have the new VSD6 icon but also the VSD 5 icon is still there, what do I need to do to get rid of the old one? My files are transferred into the new version.
Thanks Susan

Did you uninstall version 5.0 before installing 6? It sounds like you have 2 versions still installed. I would suggest uninstalling everything and re-installing the software again.

Hi, No I did not uninstall version 5.0 before I did the upgrade. If I uninstall them both won't I lose my wesite?

That would only happen if you saved your Website to where VSD is actually installed.
