Scott,
This build does not fix the main problem of punishing the customer for upgrading. I just opened one of my sites that I had not saved yet in 6.0 because I was waiting on the erased external links issue to be fixed. And the links are still gone, the only difference is now there is just "http" in the link line as opposed to build 3 which showed it link to coffeecup.com .

What your technicians may have fixed is the ability to NOW create new advanced text and it work. But, your existing users are still being slapped in the face with this problem.

Thanks for this upgrade, everything went just smooth.

I was so hoping that this upgrade was containing the fix for the mouse-over problem when duplicating a page (remember?), but we have to wait a build more.

Nevertheless, good job!

Duplicating a page that contains a mouse-over was fixed in Build 4 and should work perfectly. If you are still having issues, with that, please open up a support ticket and we will look into this further for you.

I just downloaded the build 4 version and I'm still having problems with external links. I can link an object but I still can link text to external sites.

What address were you trying to use and how exactly were you trying to link to this location?

I can link any image or object - whether a circle, square, etc. to an outside web address but I can not link text to an outside web address. I can't recall the subject title but in another forum I ran across where someone else was having the same issue and they suggested that I should be able to link the text if it's not in advanced mode. I tried this but if I remove the advanced mode and open the link box - none of the link options are available UNLESS the text is in advanced mode. But.. again - if I check advanced text mode then the link box can be used only it will not let me link the text to an outside web address. It will however, let me link the text to any page within my site.

I created a simple page today (using VSD 6 build 3) with a background picture, some text and a few symbols. I performed the upgrade to build 4 and now when I attempt to open it I just get a blank page. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Alistair
