Is there a hard-copy manual for this software? Or are the tutorials the only information available? A book of any kind would be helpful.

One was being worked on as of just over a year ago. I've seen nothing to indicate they've finished/released it. Maybe they're waiting for 6.0 to be released.
It won't be hard copy, of that I'm fairly sure.

I second the need for a manual. This way you can take your reading with you
to look up a particular area. Even a PDF where you can print selected areas.
