Scott,

What do you think of a thread where users can post links to the websites they've created using VSD? I'd like to look at other users' sites to see what can be done within VSD. Maybe add a link that would allow other Coffee Cup users to have the ability to send private messages to the author, if the author wants to accept messages.

There is at least one long-running thread that contain essentially what you are suggesting. They include, but are not limited to VSD. Take a look at this one, for example (while waiting for Scott's new thread to be 'populated' ;) ):

As for contacting the 'author', you can usually do that through whatever contact is indicated within the site.

I was thinking of a thread that only listed websites from users, with the option of contacting the author using a private message or email. I was hoping to avoid having to read through all the threads that did not contain a website..... maybe i'm just too lazy!

No, but probably a tad optimistic about the discipline among the users/posters! ;)

There will always be a lot of posts - in between the site listings - with comments and questions and all kinds of more or less relevant stuff, so you will still need to do some searching and sorting! :/

Although, the posts with sites referenced will all have a link, which is always easy to spot...

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
