I am ready to upload my website to my hoster's server. I am using thelo net.

In VSD I have clicked on 'upload' and then 'set up internet connection'.

I fill in the boxes but then a box appears with 'invalid names' which says:
'The settings in the internet configuration are not correct. The field 'catalog' must use the following rules.....'

But I am not sure where the 'catalog' field is?? There isn't such a field in the 'set up internet connection' options...

Thanks in advance for your help....

That alert box is for the WWW Folder. If you upgrade to version 6.0, you will find that the dialog box has been modified and explained a bit better

Thanks Scott.

I upgraded to version 6.0 and made some progress (was able to input all the necessary information for internet connection).

But.... When I tried to upload my site I get a error message saying:

'The programme could not create a catalog'

What does that mean?

Thanks again.

Ian,
looking at thelo.net and how it's set up is, if al your info is correct, could you possibly try another ftp like direct ftp or the free ftp program and see if you can connect that way as a test, or even try selecting the passive mode inthe VSD settings. Catalog is basically where your root folder would be, the place you upload your site pages. could be a / or a public_html folder which you don't use. the WWW should be blank
