Many thanks to Scott and CC for their help the last few days!! Your software support is exceptional as are these forums. I would have written to Scott directly but wanted to let everyone know how dedicated he is and all the team!

My problem was that I could not get my website to update the files. Scott has been working with me and we have literally tried everything. I knew it was something to do with my inept abilities in understanding everything  but I finally figured it out.

Since I had downloaded V7 and the new builds I have been unable to update but it never occurred to me that I had put in the wrong info into the ftp settings. I used 'public.html' instead of 'public_html' This morning when I got all my info out from my webhost I saw that they said my folder was public_html --I did another search in the forums about this and saw a year old post by Orlando that it could be public_html.

Well of course it was and now I am updated and really red in the face to have wasted so much of Scott's time! The CC team probably knows that most of the problems we have with their software begins with our own ineptness! :D
The one great thing about all my problems is that I really understand the software a lot better -- I think!
Thanks again guys!!
Now off to see if I can get my store to update too!

Thanks for sharing your solution :D Glad is was a simple fix!
I did almost the same thing some years ago; Bruzer pointed out I was typing public-html rather than public_html. Sometimes it just takes a fresh set of eyeballs :P

Don't sweat it. We all over look obvious things. The one great thing is that you've learned a little more about the program and things to check. Thanks again for posting back.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I am really psyched to dig into the programs now since I finally took the time to figure more out -- or had to figure more out!!

Just uploaded our webstore and no problems at all -- everything worked as Scott said it should -- once you input the correct remote folder!!

Should send Scott a homemade apple pie but it would be apple soup I think by the time it arrived!
