You could password protect it depending on your server and/or host.
Aren't you a little short for a Storm Trooper?

ftp it to your server with Coffeecup's free ftp program if you don't have the paid version.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks

I've got Visual Site Designer and I've just added the zip file to the ebook where it says add/edit files and republished my site. I can't find the file though when I look for it. I'm trying to make a link to it on my site but it keeps coming up with the 404 error report not found. I've used www.mysite.com/subdirectory/filename.zip (I've used my details of course) but it's not coming up???

Thanks again Beth

Look for it to be this if you add the file through the linking tool in VSD.
http://www.mysite.com/files/Download/filename.zip

If you click on "Edit" then "Add Files" then it would be in the root or the folder that you placed it in.:)
http://www.mysite.com/filename.zip
or
http://www.mysite.com/folder/filename.zip

Thanks again Beth

There has been a few user that for some reason can't get a link to a document to work in preview mode. I had the issue and it went away during the last update.:) Glad it's working on your site.

Not working for me either. It is not a .zip file as it is just a one page .pdf. I have added it to the root folder, but when I take the site live, I get an error message

Have you made sure the link in VSD is correct?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
