Hi all,

I know there are some themes on the site I can download and there are those that are built in.

I've scoured the net looking for themes and templates for VSD but came up empty.

I wonder if there's any one out there who know's of a place I can get them from?

Thanks in advance.

We do have these at https://www.coffeecup.com/store/themes/ … -designer/ but I am not aware of any one else selling themes for use with Visual Site Designer.

I found a link in this thread for some Xmas ones:
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/website … es/?page=2

But... beware that when I allowed the flash in FireFox (I use NoScript so many things have to be allowed) it crashed my browser. I tried it again and same results so there's something wrong there, but it looks nice, I just can't see the themes examples is all lol. I don't use VSD so I haven't looked for any themes for it at all so good luck to you on that venture :)

Themes for VSD can actually only be obtained at CoffeeCup, unless some VSD user creates some and makes them available. It is not possible to take some theme or design from somewhere else, then VSD can only open .vnu files.

I bought an HTML theme from Coffee Cup. How do I get it into VSD? I've put it in the folder but only the default these are exposed when I try to open the theme.

Not sure about this - but have you checked whether the theme is in Documents > CoffeeCupSoftware > Themes? I think this is where they should be stored to show up in the application.

Hiya brian,

I'm not sure here but I don't believe you can use the HTML themes with VSD, you need specific themes that are built for VSD itself. Sounds like you may have purchased the right theme (theme you liked) for the wrong program?

You cannot use an HTML Editor theme for use with Visual Site Designer. You must use a Visual Site Designer Theme.

I purchased a couple of themes for VSD, loaded them no problem. Started working on my new website, but the purchased themes don't look the same as they do on the CC site. "Vintage" doesn't have the blue on either side like it showed in the CC theme store. The title, has a black box behind it and won't let me change what it says. When I load one of the default themes that came with VSD, I can change whatever I want to, but in the purchased themes I can't.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hiya Danna,

You may want to open a support topic to CC to see if they can help you with this issue. You can do that by going here:

Good luck with it :)
