Text Overlapping On New Monitor

I've done some searching on the forum for my issue and haven't found anything similar postings.

I did a couple of simple web sites last year using VSD and everything worked great. The WYSIWYG of VSD is great too! Those sites were done using a non-widescreen monitor at 1024 x 768.

Recently I upgraded to a 22" wide screen monitor at 1920 x 1080. When I open those sites on my computer using VSD 7.0.26, the text overlaps itself and images on the screen. Changing the resolution of the present 22" monitor doesn't change the overlapping text.

How can I get the old familiar WYSIWYG back on my new wide monitor?

So are we talking in the design screen or preview in VSD or on the live site on the web? If it's the live site can you share a link?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

This is on the VSD design screen that things look screwy. The live site built with the previous non-wide screen monitor looks fine.

I would like to do some changes to the live site but the design screen looks so bad I'm afraid to touch anything.

I think that Eric needs a link to the live site and also a screen shot of the design preview pg

Did you try enlarging the text boxes?

I just tried to enlarge the text boxes and can't. I get the four arrows and can drag the text box. But when I hover over any of the small blue squares, I can't drag to change the shape of the box.

I high-lighted a text box then clicked on Object. Allow advanced text is not selected and is greyed out.

I looked at several text boxes and they were all this way.

What happens if you add a new text box?

OK.......I have a little brain fog tonight:(

It's been awhile since I've worked with VSD and I forgot to double-click a text box to outline it in red instead of blue. Now I can change the size of the box.

But it appears the font size is much larger than the original. If I high-light the text and choose a smaller font size, the VSD design page looks more like the publishes live page done several months ago.

Does this mean I will need to go through all of my design pages and adjust the font size on every page for every site?

I was hoping there was a global setting in VSD that would restore the "original look."

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
