Ive just updated to the latest version of VSD 7.0.26, hoping it would resolve my text problem.
What it is, Im using a grey coloured text on my pages, viewed online, and in VSD preview its no probem, and shows correctly. However when Im composing it has a blueish tint and some paragraphs appear very faded, anyone else had this problem, or can offer some advice.
Regards
Kenny

Are you using advanced text?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric.
Advanced text is unchecked.
No problems previously, seems to have happened since moving up to IE-9 form IE-8 although could be wrong on this.

Probably not using a 'web safe' font. Just my thoughts. Web safe fonts look the same across all browsers. Yes, not all fonts are the same! The only other way you can make it work would be to either use 'advanced text' as Eric suggests, or create your text in a graphics program and import it as an image. Advanced text does convert your text to an image, but it can cause problems too. Just my opinion, but you might look for a 'web safe' font.

Thanks for both replies.
Im using Windows Vista 32 bit SP2 and Internet Explorer 9.0
And using a web safe font of Arial 13px

In compatibility mode there is no Vista option to choose from, the nearest being WXP service pack 2

Ah, Vista! You say it looks good on-line, just not when working in VSD... are you using a standard desktop theme? Or have you changed and/or modified the theme that originally installed with Vista? We have found that not all themes are as compatible as Microsoft would lead one to think. If you are not using the original theme, you might try a different theme just to see if it makes a difference.
