How do you install a new template to use in VSD?
I have a quite a few I would like to use but can't get them into VSD.
All of these are CC templates.
When I try to start a new site with templates all I get is the templates that
came with VSD.
Do I need new categories and if so how to I create new ones?

All you need to do is go to the File menu and open the template. You cannot install them and have them appear in the "Open from Template" area.

What are you talking about?
The File Menu allows you to start a new website, choose from the Templates in VSD or open a website.
No where can you open any single file.
If this is possible please let me know what you click on the get the template.

Are you talking about Visual Site Designer Templates Doc?
You can't use any other templates other then what's provided with the program and the additional ones here.

What I do is download the zip file to my desktop, well better yet

All you do is unzip the template and then go to the File Menu and select Open. Browse to find the template and that is it.

I know that Scott was just showing him he can open it with the "open website "option, sorry for the misunderstanding.
