I just added some new pictures to a website with VSD and when I pressed "Preview" it opened up word pad. So I pressed add a new browser it takes me to "My Documents". What is happening?

Did you try restarting your pc?

I'm thinking this is a good place for my strange thing also . I have a site that I had a jukebox added to my page. I have changed the design a few times, myjukebox1 to myjukebox2 etc. Now I am up to myjukebox7. Here is the problem. If I try and publish in my site in VSD it publishes all the older versions along with the current one, of the jukebox. If I delete the older versions, folders and files, in my directory the are gone UNTIL I hit save in VSD, THEN the reappear. If I try to publish them they say file XXX not found. Now, on my VSD page there is only the myjukebox7 there. I can not find any code calling for the older versions of myjukebox. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric, thanks. Yes I restarted my PC, I went to programs and uninstalled VSD then reinstalled, deleted and reinstalled, went to add/remove programs and uninstalled and reinstalled, I went to the registry cleaner and restored the last 2 cleanings and i resaved the site under a new name and it still goes to word pad when i try to preview. Now i'm at a total loss as to what to do. I put in a support request and Orlando suggested I do those things, yet they did not work. i think i'll try to preview a different website to see if it happens with other sites or if it is just that one. really quirky. If you can think of anything else to try I would be so glad. Maybe I should try to resync the site. One way or another it will work. or....?

Sarah, have you checked the 'Standard programmes' (my computer has a Norwegian Windows version, so maybe it's called 'Default programmes' in an English version) on your computer? You find it on the start menu, right side, below 'Printers and devices'. You can set which files should be opened by which apps.

Marc. When you redid your jukebox did you use the remove flash tool to remove it or did you just delete the html box?

Hi Inger, Thank you for the idea. I searched but could not find what you were talking about, but it gave me an idea and i restored my computer to Aug 21st and now the preview works! Hooray! Just hope I didn't lose anything that happened in a good way between then and now. Thank you all for helping me. How wonderful everyone is on this forum.

I just deleted the flash box. Not sure that I have seen the remove tool

I found it under the Object Properties . I will try that this evening.

Good, because I did post back where to find it and my post is not here. Just a little hiccup.
