Site Centering and font issue
Hi everyone.
I am having a little issue with a site I am building. I am using Visual Site Designer and I am trying to center my site. I was able to center my site on each side, but since it is not height, on certain computers it would align on the top in the browser. I was told that I cannot fix this directly with VSD. I wanted to know if HTML editor would allow me to do that.
My second issue is that the font I used for the site does not appear on certain computers. I used Lucidia Handwriting which is a basic font no?
You can check out the site at shoes4u.ca
Feed back on whether you see the font correctly or any thoughts on my first issue as well will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steph,
Usually if you go under the settings tab, then "standard settings for new pages" you'll see something like this: http://kellyinfo.com/web/centered.jpg
make sure this is checked.that may take care of the centering problem, let us know if it is already checked.
here's what I see in FF (see attached)

Thank you Bruzer for your fast reply!
i have actually checked this box already, but it only seems to center the site horizontally (on each side) but it aligns it at the top (not centered vertically). This is not a problem on most wide screen computers. But since my site is not high, on bigger monitors there is a big space at the bottom in the browser since the site is aligned on top.
And it seems you cannot display the correct font on the website. However on my computer and my fathers' computer the correct font appears. But on all other computers I have check so far the font is not displayed accurately.
Here is what I see in my browser.(attachment)
Any idea what can be causing this?
Thank you so much for your help

Paula,
try looking under-settings-standard settings for new pages-and see if on the right for page size if the box is checked for centered, if not then put a check mark in it.
If you have a link to your site could you post it so we could see if there is anything else we can do. thanks.

Steph L,
unless the other visitors have the same font installed on their computers, most likely they will not see your ( special font). you could opt to use flash website font, it uses flash and everyone would then be able to see your font without it being installed on their computers.
