Could someone explain how to reconstruct a site using the backups on the server? Something is messed up on one of the sites I started. (Someone else is now updating it and he doesn't know what happened.) Anyway nothing shows up when you go to the site, but using a seperate FTP program I can see that backup files are there. I had to do this several months ago, but don't remember how. The site is www.anthmfc.com

If you see the .vnu file and can download it to your computer, I believe you'll be fine. Then just open it in VSD and re-publish.

It won't let me publish, because the links from the index page are no longer on my computer.

I'm not a VSD user, so I was just taking a stab in the dark really, but it was my understanding that as long as you have the .vnu file you should be able to restore the site...

Hopefully one of the VSD guru's (or Scott) will come in soon and help you out. Good luck. :)
