Thanks, but I just d/l 5.9.2 and I still get the same error.
Prior to reading your post, I saw in another thread that CoffeeCup provided someone with a .zip file to fix the problem. I tried this also before d/l 5.9.2 and it didn't work either.

In the Visual Site Designer folder there is a register.exe Try running that and then see if it fixes the issue.

Still an error in uploading, but it's my fault when I brought the site over from my old computer.....misplaced my menu *sigh*

Well you should be able to delete it and then it will be ok.
