Problems with text

After creating a text box for a title or sub-title everything looks fine in VSD, but when I preview or publish, the text sometimes changes from one line to two. I can't pin down why it is doing this.
Text is in Calibri, is left justified and size 3 or4 font.

Some lines are fine, some aren't.

This started happening about 2 weeks ago.

See the pics. 1st pic is shown in VSD, second pic is from preview.

Hope you can help. It's becoming very frustrating.

First, the font Calibri is not a web safe font so not all browsers can render that. You should stick to only web safe fonts. See this list here at http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html

Also, there are certain ways text needs to be added to VSD. Take a look at this article here:

Thanks Scott,

The problem remains. Changed everything to Verdana. The text I am having problems with is in separate text boxes. There is only one line in each box. With Verdana, each line is now displaying as two lines in preview. Shows properly in VSD.

Any help is appreciated. And thanks for the tips on the appropriate fonts to use.

Galen, Try separating your text box's so their not over lapping.:)

Problem solved. Thank you.

I just realized several weeks ago I install the beta version of IE9. Didn't think about it, but that is when all the problems started. Rolled back to IE8 and all is well.

Sorry for raising an alarm.

I just have to keep on learning here.
