Hello There,

Firstly a tip for anyone who doesn’t know what the Google +1 button is (and I didn’t a week ago) it could be worth checking it out because it might become an influence on your search result placing.

And now my problem……. I am a fairly experienced VSD user and have successfully imbedded stuff on my site see http://www.cmprophoto.co.uk/weddingstorybooks.html however I cannot get the +1 button to show when I preview a page.
I am using the HTML tool and cutting and pasting from the Google “get the code” site using the tabs in the HTML tool to place part of the code in the header and part in the body as per Google’s instructions but nothing appears in a preview of the page.
At some point the wonderful wizards at Coffecup might give us a +1 button button ? but till then could one of you who have done this successfully please spare a little time to provide a walk through so I know I am not missing something obvious (which I probably am!!)
The recommended info for a question to this forum is as follows:

2. Operating system Vista Home Premium
3. Version of the application 7.0 Build 24
4. Registered version
5. What specific steps have you taken to create this issue? See above
6. Does it occur every time? Yes
7. Can you recreate the issue on another computer? Not yet tried.

Perhaps it won't show up until the page goes live?

The wonderful people in coffeecup support have now posted an article on this at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … your-page/ and you are right Janys it seems that it will not show until the pages goes live on the web.

So thank you that is my question answered!
