Hi everyone, I have the problem when I try to add web from builder from Coffeecup to my web page after I updated my VSD from 6 to 7. The web form shows properly in the preview window but when I publish on my website it just shows nothing but a "Form Text" thing on the page.

I try two different ways to add web form builder on my page. One is by using "add a coffee cup flash object" button. The other way is to use "add HTML" button then draw a box and copy the script that web form builder generated for me to the "Body HTML" window. And none of the above method works.

Does anyone have the same issue? I didn't have any problem with web from builder before the update. Please help me.

When you used the flash tool on the left hand panel in VSD and you browsed to the XML file, VSD should have auto sized the HTML box for the object and added all the needed files. Try removing the flash by clicking on the HTML box in VSD then in the object properties box on the right click remove flash, then click ok to remove files when it pops up. Now try adding the flash again by using the tool on the left hand panel and browsing for the form XML file that the CC form made and you saved.

Hi Eric, thanks for the quick response. I followed your instruction but it seems there's another problem coming out. I found out that everything i edited in web form builder doesn't show properly when i put it in VSD. For example, I chose a pre-designed theme in web form builder. Then i only edited some text. But when I put it in VSD it shows different text. It's very weird. It feels like the web form builder is doing things by itself. The theme i used is called "orange-you-glad". I changed the "website" text to "Occupation". But when i add xml to the vsd, the preview screen shows "Subject" instead of "occupation" nor the original "website" text.

Eric if you have web form builder can you try that theme for me please? you can just edit some of the text on there and see if it shows correctly on your vsd preview.

I already have a website with that theme used and all is fine. Did you try the preview in two different browsers. Fire Fox and IE8?

ye i tried both...same result. It's strange, i mean the web form builder shouldn't edit things by itself. It works fine when i haven't upgrade my vsd to 7. So i think it must be something about the update..

Can you upload to your server and post a link?

Maybe a dumb question here, but did you save your version of the form in your VSD site files? Check your files to be sure all the files created by the form builder are there.
I've used a few different themes with no problems. After creating a form I save as and give it a name that makes it easy to keep track of it (like: mysite-contact), then I use the Flash tool as Eric described above.

I've opened 2 older VSD sites in VSD7, and both had a few glitches with some missing files. Don't know why most of the files show up just fine and a few others don't, but adding the files manually (Edit > Add Files) took care of things. You could do that to make sure the form files are included before adding the form to your page.

I have been working the web form but still no luck. I tried to use Orange-you-glad theme on my "contact" page. It shows fine on my preview screen. But when i saved the whole thing and open the "contact" html in firefox, it doesn't show any form but just a "Form text" icon on the screen. Same thing as i upload to the server it shows the same result.

Weird thing is there's another theme called "let's talk". It doesn't even show on the preview. At least Orange-you-glad can show properly on my FF preview screen.

There's a flash swf movie file called "orange you glad", Can you guys check to click on it and see what it shows? Because when i open it in adobe flash player 10, it show a small windows with text saying" Cannot find your XML file. You need to upload it for". I don't know if it has to do anything with my situation.

Can you verify by direct ftp that the proper files are on your server?

A link goes a very long way for getting extra help on things like this, if you can allow us to see the form we can tell what might be missing or why it's not working
