Hey All,
I'm hoping you can help me with what is (probably) a basic problem. I'm new to using coffeecup and I'm trying to upload my first webpage with it.
I've gone into: Settings -> FTP Settings and set it up correctly
Ive put in my domain, username, password and I've typed in "public _html" into the WWW Folder field with no "" in there! When I test the connection its fine, when I check in FileZilla that the files have gone into my WWW folder - they have. But then when I go and view my index.html on my site its just blank!
I've opened up the index.html file that VSD has uploaded in notepad and its just blank.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris

Have a link?
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
yeah: thereviewguru.com/index.html
I'm going to guess you uploaded it to the wrong place and are opening a blank index.html file that is usually created in most folders by many programs. The blank ones usually help stop people from being able to load your folder URL's into a browser window to see the list of all the files in the folder. Keeps nosy people out of your stuff for the most part hehe.
I'm not familar with VSD and it's FTP setups enough to tell you what is not right, but if you already put the public_html in the www box, try just putting a / in it instead and see if that works?

Hey Wolverana,
Thanks for the advice, just tried changing the WWW folder name to "/public_html/" and "public_html/" to no avail! When I test the connection in VSD it says A OK.

Who are you hosted with may we ask?
Hey Bruzer - I'm with JustHost
Its really doing my head in now! I keep using VSD to upload then I use FileZilla to check that the files are in my "www" folder and they are. Im convinced that all of the images / html files are in the right place and VSD definitely uploads them when I press upload because Ive checked the time of upload - but ALL image files uploaded and html files uploaded are BLANK!
Each file has Read Write permissions for Owner and Read-Only for public which is right.
Coffecup is just playing with me, letting me make my website and then uploading blank files! HELP!! :-)

Chris,
in the WWW slot you should just have /public_html
your images are 0kb's which is no content. I suggest make a test by opening a theme, save it and upload to see if that shows, which I guarantee it will.
Let us know.
