Okay, I am new to this web design and posting. My first web site is up and running in less than a week though. Yeah!! Thanks to CC VSD. One problem is that at the bottom of each live page is the "Paste Code Here", but when I am in CC VSD I do not see it at the bottom of the page. Where is it and how do i get rid of it.

Also, where is the robotics.txt file supposed to go?

Thanks,
Bill

Thought I would answer my own question. I figured it out. Since I do not read html and am new to this that was my problem. When I pasted my analytic script into VSD, I thought I pasted over the Paste Code Here, but instead I pasted in the middle of it. Some was before the html and some after, but appeared as if there was nothing in the middle. Also, figured out the robot.txt file.

Otherwise, I have a great website built in no time at all.

This is what I want to know as well. At the bottom of each live page it says paste code here. What code is this referring to? Does this mean the email opt in script?
thanks Ed

You basically did the same thing as Bill describes in his post. Though, instead of pasting your code in the middle of the "Paste the code in here" text, you pasted it after. You needed to delete/replace "Paste the code in here" with the code you inserted.

So, go to Edit > Insert Website Analytics Code

You should see this as the first line:
Paste the code in here<script type="text/javascript">

Delete "Paste the code in here" so your first line is just this:
<script type="text/javascript">
