please help- page cannot be saved!

I just tried saving my home page and a popup keeps coming up stating that "the homepage cannot be saved" I then tried saving it under a different file name and that will not work either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure your page isn't named with any weird characters or spaces.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,
No it's not. In fact it's the same name i had started out with. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem? I don't want to lose all the work i just put into it.

I am alos getting the popup "Changes could not be saved" and it continuously goes back and forth between that screen and the file section where it would normally be saved.

Try crtl + Alt + del to launch the task manager then select VSD to end task. When it ask if you want to close it select cancel. The try saving your website.

Thanks Eric. Unfortunately the task manager did not give me the option of whether or not I had wished to close it and it closed it anyhow. i'll have to redo some of the info I had put in. i'm a bit concerned now about this happening again in the future. Any tips how to avoid this, other than saving everything every few minutes?

I've seen that a few times but the method I posted always worked to get it out of the loop so I could save it. I always save now as a habit every time I make any changes that would take a long time to redo.:)

Hi Eric,
Thank you so much for your help. Aside from the fact that this software is very easy to use, I was convinced to purchase it due to the fast help that I always receive in these forums. You guys are really awesome.

BTW I love the pic of your dog in his shirt! It's very cute! Thanks again.
