Hiya Steph,

Is this the same link at the top with the gallery on that site? http://www.shoes4u.ca/
If so then the gallery is showing up to me just fine in FF 3.6.3, let us know if you have this on a temp site instead and then provide a link as Tassie has suggested.

Hi Steph,
it looks to me your ( boots gallery_files) folder is there but what needs to be with it is the xml and swf files as the html code is in the page. These must all be together with the galleries folder. hense the white box. Or you coud even point the images in the xml file and html code to there location.
(casual wear and boots)

Hello to all of you,
and thank you for the help.
Sorry for not specifying but it is indeed the shoes4u.ca site.
In the English part the boots and casual wear galleries are in white like Bruzer mentioned.

Bruzer, I think that I understand what you are saying about those xml and swf files, but I really have no experience with code so would there be a simple way to fix this directly in VSD or Photo Gallery?
Are you saying I should put the xml and swf files inside the gallery_files folder?
There must be something I'm not doing properly because I seem to get trouble every time I modify them.

Thank a lot
Steph

Steph the easiest way to do this properly is to remove the gallery files under the settings menu and re-adding the gallery using the flash tool, which looks for the xml and then vsd would automatically install the nessesary files for your gallery. But the way I was mentioning here is to place the xml, swf, where the gallery_files folder is located (not inside). so basically place the xml and swf in the en folder where the folder for that gallery is..:) Same with the casual galleries swf and xml they must all be together or the html code must point to where the xml and swf are:
for example for the swf you have this
<param name="movie" value="casual gallery.swf"/>
and would be changed to this:
<param name="movie" value="en/casual gallery.swf"/>
same with this line:
<param name="FlashVars" VALUE="xmlfile=casual gallery.xml"/>
<param name="FlashVars" VALUE="xmlfile=en/casual gallery.xml"/>
confusing huh!

Hi Bruzer!
Thank you very much for your help!
The xml ans swf files are already in the right place.
The method you are mentioning to me is exactly what I did actually.:/
Maybe I did not do it properly...
I will try again and let you know if it works!
Thanks:D

usually Steph a white box indicates a file is missing or not in a correct place, this is why I mentioned that, if you find they are then something else is happening. lol
the next thing I would try is removing the gallery files from the settings tab, save and then use the flash tool to re-add the gallery, that will place everything where it should be. Although they won't be in the "en" folder.

I have re uploaded both sections of the site with the galleries. After deleting all the files and re-adding the flash galleries.

The result: All the galleries except the purses gallery are working on the french site, and none of the galleries on the English site are appearing.
I find this very odd since I am using the very same galleries for both sites.

I will try removing the files and then saving before re-adding the galleries.
Thanks again
Steph

Hi Bruzer,

:/ All the galleries on the english site are now working!
But 3 of the galleries ( purses, new ans specials) are not working..
Basically all I did was try to upload again. I don't know how that changed anything, but the english site is up now.

I guess I will try uploading the french site again and hope it will end up working lol

Edit:
I tied to re-sync and that did it fore the french section! What ever the problem was xD Now it is working fine!

Thank you for your help
Steph
