I manually inserted the following line of HTML onto a VSD page thinking that "Target="_blank" would open the link URL in a new tag.

<a href="http://skytagid.coffeecup.com/storage/Downloads/DataSheets/iViewAT.pdf" target="_blank">iView TMS - Tag Management Services</a>

On the same page, there is a link created with the Link tool in VSD that has its target set to "New Window _blank"

Both links open in a new tab when I use Preview mode. However, when I publish the code to my site, the links don't open at all when clicked on. If I right click mouse and click the "Open in new tab" option, the link opens.

I have the same code embedded on links in my shopping cart using Shopping Cart Creator. They work fine when published.

Could someone shed some insight as to why the links in VSD work in preview mode but not live?

OK - figured out the problem - IE9 settings on Pop Up Blocker. I should have suspected IE earlier since it's the cause of 98% of my problems!
