I am trying to add a new page in VSD and I am getting a message that says, only 25 pages can be shown, please close a page before adding a new one. This is probably something easy that I am just overlooking, but I do not see an option anywhere to close a page. I see the option of closing the entire website, but not a single page. In fact I will need to close many pages and more after that, as the site will probably contain about 60 pages when completed.

Can someone tell me where the option is for this, so I can continue adding pages?

Darin - Are you by any chance, using the trial version? I'm not sure of limitations on VSD, but I am pretty certain that the Registered version does allow more than 25 pages.

I just had a look and you can close each page by clicking on the red square with the white cross up in the right hand corner...just like with other pages or folders

You don't need to have all your pages open at once.

It's a limitation with the software. I have the registered version, and mine won't let me have more than 25 pages open inside VSD at any one time. Fix is to close the pages (as said above) by clicking on the red X at the right hand top of the page. Then you can open up the next 25 and work on them.

It is a pain, as one of my sites has a page for each state. Plus article and resource pages. Therefore, I easily have more than 50 pages. When I go through to verify each page, I can't do the whole site at once.

Sounds like maybe a good thing to suggest in the suggestions thread for VSD if you want to L M

Feel Lucky! it use to be 10 pages at a time, but as Jo Ann suggests, suggest it in the suggestions thread..
