Jammn - Copy/Paste is your friend! I've gone through this before. Set up your new VSD site - background and pages needed. Go online to the site you need and copy/paste text, images and graphics.
You'll need to tweek your text some, but it's better than re-typing everything!

Edit... you can also download the html pages and keep those in a file to use as sort of a "grab-bag" to pull stuff from.
