I am pretty sure you can't do this Christine. VSD files aren't editable to add things into them at all. The only way you'll be able to do this is manually unfortunately. Would be nice if someday they made that .vnu file editable and changeable in ways like this, but I don't know if that is on their plate to do or not.

Christine,

I don't see why you couldn't just copy the contents of the page (shapes, text etc) into your clipboard ("ctrl a"), close project 1, then open project 2, create a new page and paste. You'd have to do this process for each individual page, and you may have to re-link some of the graphics to their original directory structures on your system, and re-link the shapes and/or text with effects inside the _website folder, but this process SHOULD work. If you need a little help cleaning things up on the back-end of VSD those of us in the forum here can help you with that. I know VSD very well I understand the file structures well enough to clean up just any mess you could make during this process, but plenty of others on here can help you as well :D

Hi Christine,

Open VSD TWO times (yeah, this is possible) and then copy things from one instance of VSD to the other one...

Hi Hulasista,

Coffeecup decided to make it impossible to open more than one instance of VSD since version 7. I don't know why they did, but as for now it's impossible to copy things from one design to another by opening 2 instances of VSD. Scott, what is the reason for this? It was a very useful trick... Maybe I go back to VSD 6 for this possibility only (I still have a backup). BTW, I don't think the added functionality from 6 to 7 is overwhelming, I can't see what the 'buttonize' option is adding to what could have be done anyway, and the extra textbox functionality is very meagre, to say the least.... Or even causing more trouble than doing any good...
