Linking to Documents - limit?
I was working on a site yesterday where I have probably 20+ documents linked (they're all in the download folder). What I noticed happening was that when I would upload a new set of documents, when VSD prompted "you have deleted some items on your page, would you like to delete them from teh server", it would delete the files I had previously added - even though I had NOT deleted them from the page.
Has anyone else had this glitch happen to them? I went and uploaded them to the download folder with DirectFTP, and that worked fine, but I imagine now I will have to delete anything through DirectFTP, or it will do the same thing...just seems like a weird glitch.

Hi mandinkers,
I to have had this happen as well and lost files due to it, but it is so erratic, you never know when it's gonna come up, just learn from it i guess if you know you didn't delete anything then select "no" option.
If you need to delete any files added to VSD you can still remove them by going to the settings> remove files, with no problems, I haven't had that problem as of yet just once in awhile the uploading.

thanks for the reply, bruzer...that's a better solution for now, i think, than using DirectFTP
