Link corrupted, closes VSD

I made object links to go to certain PDF files. I don't know at what point they became corrupted because the website is working fine.

Within VSD, I click on 3 of the 5 object link to change the file location and it closes the program. I don't get a chance to delete it or anything else.

Is there anything I can do besides deleting the page and rebuilding it?

Have you got the site in question uploaded, so that you could provide a link?

Also, have you got the most recent version of VSD installed (7, build 11)?

The problem links within VSD are the 2nd row (Financial Records, Organization, Pastors-Officers.

I was backing up the 6 program to install 7 when I discovered the issue.

I opened all those pdfs without any trouble at all, both in IE and FF (both latest versions)

I see you have file names for the pdfs consisting of more than one word. You could try renaming them like this: financial_records.pdf, pastors_and_officers.pdf etc Some browsers have a problem with single words.

If you rename the files, remember to update the links too.

I have multiple PDF's throughout the website and have no issues. The problem is with the (link) menu button I created for those items. (I make all my own). Yes, on the website it works fine, but again, within the program file, when I mouse click on it to change the link, it shuts down the program everytime. The last 2 in that link of link don't do that, they're fine.

I guess what I'm working with is a corrupted object and possibly the link is involved somehow although I don't see how since the website it working correctly.

What would help is if you opened a support ticket for this issue. We will need a zip file that contains the .vnu and the _website folder and then tell us which page on the site you are having problems with. Our support system can only handle a 10mb zip file, so if it is larger then that, upload the zip file to your website and send us the download link.

This is a huge site so if I did a backup "save as" deleting all the other pages, would this work?

It cannot hurt to try.
