Hey guys and gals,
I'm having a challenge with VSD. It seems to degrade the quality of my jpgs, though not all of them.
I put up this hidden page to demonstrate what it is doing. Notice the top pictures are a mess, though the bottom bottle on the left is fine. http://www.bulkcolostrum.com/mess.html
The sight looks great, but everytime I open VSD to work on the site the .jpg's have degraded a bit, and each time, it gets worse.
I have gone in and removed all the degraded pics and re installed them on each page, then moved all the degraded pics out of the file where they are stored and put all clean pics in. It loads up to my site fantastically, then when I open it again in VSD, after all that work, the pics are again degrading . . . getting fuzzy around the edges and if I open and close VSD several times, they get unreadable.
Help.
Thanks
Donna
jpeg degradation
I've had this happen one time before. I copy/pasted a photo from the web to use as a placeholder until I could get my own photo of the item. It quickly deteriorated.
I haven't had any problems with high resolution photos that have been re-sized and optimized for web in Photoshop (or any other image editors I've used). It's best to save your photos at the actual size you need before inserting them in VSD – that's all I can think of that might help

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams)

Thanks PB almost all of my pics have been copy pasted from the web, and they have always held their quality. All of them are crisp and clear when I start, but degrade overtime. Just not sure what is up.
Thanks for your time and thoughts.
