I just downloaded the 5.8 version of VSD, hoping this problem would resolve itself, however it still shows up. Some of the Inspectors, in particular the Link Inspector, only shows part of the menu:

I'm using Windows Vista, which is probably the source of the problem- are there any solutions that anyone knows of? It's really a headache guessing whether or not you are typing the link correctly, as you can't see beyond 6 or 7 characters!

The reason for that is you are using Custom DPI settings. Change your DPI back to normal (96DPI) and reboot. This will correct the problem.

I know what DPI is in print, but I'm not sure where that would be on my PC- can you give me a hint on where to adjust it? I tried the graphics adjustment, but that only seems to change the resolution. Is that what you are talking about?

Jason if you right click on your desktop, then on properties, then settings , then advanced and inder display you'll see where it should say 96dpi if not then change it, if it is then leave it.
